Shipped securely and quickly. Sold without a frame. LASVEGUIX French contemporary artist Lasveguix develops a singular universe at the crossroads of street art, collage, and contemporary painting. His work questions the memory of walls, the passage of time, and the poetry of the ephemeral, transforming urban scars into emotionally charged works. Introduced to graffiti by his cousin SUOZ, he shapes his visual language through contact with the walls of Paris and London. His work sits within an artistic lineage where the great names of urban and contemporary art converse. One can recognize the heritage of Jacques Villeglé and Raymond Hains in torn posters, the sculptural power of Vhils, the raw energy of Jean-Michel Basquiat, the silhouettes of Jérôme Mesnager, the poetry of Miss Tic, the urban memory of Ernest Pignon-Ernest, Jef Aérosol’s stencil, Invader’s pixelated universe, and Shepard Fairey’s iconic force. Without ever imitating them, Lasveguix asserts a personal style, immediately identifiable. Torn posters, spray paint, acrylic, Posca, and reliefs compose genuine “skin of walls,” where tears, superimpositions, and traces of time become witnesses to a collective memory. Each work reveals a dialogue between material, history, and emotion, inviting the viewer to rediscover the beauty of what the city seemed to have forgotten. Lasveguix exhibits regularly in France and internationally. His works join private collections in many countries, signaling growing interest from collectors. His career has led him to participate in art fairs, prestigious exhibitions, and charity galas bringing together collectors, patrons, and institutions. His work has notably been shown at events organized at Roland-Garros, the District 13 Art Fair at the Hôtel Drouot, in Monaco, and in several emblematic venues of the contemporary art scene. Through each of his creations, Lasveguix gives a second life to the city’s vestiges. He does not depict the walls; he reveals their soul, allowing urban heritage, memory, and creation to dialogue within a work that is deeply contemporary and timeless.
