Larry Young (American, b. 1943) Strolling Woman Modernist Pink Marble Sculpture

This modernist sculpture, titled Strolling Woman by artist Larry Young, features an abstracted female form carved from highly polished pink marble. The piece is a study in mid-century biomorphic abstraction, characterized by an elongated, fluid silhouette, stylized anatomical features, and a sweeping, cowl-like headpiece.
