Large European Porcelain Plate, 19th Century, Bearing Sevres Marks

A large European porcelain cabinet plate of the 19th century, decorated with a turquoise-blue ground enriched with gilt scrollwork. The center is painted with a finely executed portrait of a nobleman in 17th-century dress, surrounded by eight circular portrait medallions depicting aristocratic figures. The reverse bears Sevres factory marks, alongside the name Dauphin and the names of famous figures and prominent female courtiers from the royal court.
