LAPIS-LAZULI

For sale, two pear-cut cabochons, polished domes, reveal a deep, velvety midnight blue, speckled with tiny pyrite flashes evoking a starry sky. A lapis lazuli of fine quality, set in a sober and elegant 925 silver mount. Lapis-lazuli has been mined for over 6,000 years in the Badakhshan mountains, Afghanistan. Egyptian pharaohs adorned their funeral masks with it, and Cleopatra used it ground into powder as eye shadow. It is one of the oldest stones in the history of human jewelry. In lithotherapy, lapis-lazuli is associated with the third eye chakra and the throat. It is attributed with mental clarity, authentic communication, and a connection to intuition. It supports those who seek to express their inner truth with confidence. 1. Secure shipping with tracking number. 2. Shipping twice a week.
