Langenthal - Dessert service (6) - Porcelain - for 6 people

Elegant dessert set for 6 people produced in Switzerland by the Langenthal manufactory. Each piece of the set is adorned with a refined decoration that pairs a cobalt blue ornamental border with polychrome figurative motifs. The rim features a rich interlacing of floral elements and blue arabesques, outlined by thin gold threads that lend luminosity and refinement to the whole. At the center of the plates are depicted gallant scenes inspired by the eighteenth century, with ladies and gentlemen dressed according to the fashion of the time, immersed in romantic pastoral landscapes. The figures, rendered in delicate pastel tones, create a pleasant contrast with the deep blue of the surrounding decoration. The set consists of 6 plates with a diameter of 17 cm. Excellent condition.
