Lamp - Metal, Bronze

It bears the marks of time and of the earth’s labor. This old miner’s lamp, with its patinated brass cylinder and its rusted metal chimney, tells on its own the story of the men from the pit, the darkness of the galleries, and the constant search for light. Once a vigilant sentinel at the heart of the rock, it has today become a piece of history and memory, suspended between the memory of the coal miners and the sobriety of a piece of folk art. Its glow has faded, but its character remains intact. No shipping outside Europe. Height 30cm
