Lamp - Eye Gyroscope - Steel - Space age

Spectacular and substantial Space Age-style desk/table lamp dating from the 1980s/1990s. With its gyroscopic structure and its orientable diffuser shaped like a truncated globe, this piece offers a remarkable visual presence, very characteristic of the futuristic design of that era. In very good original vintage condition. The chrome retains a superb shine and a beautiful mirror-like effect. A few small signs of use or surface wear consistent with age, invisible from a distance and with no impact on the overall aesthetics. Original electrification perfectly functional. Diameter of the base: 22 cm Height: 43 cm Mini globe diameter: 24 cm The base weighs at least 5 kilos; the lamp is very heavy. An exceptional piece for a collector or to complete a high-end vintage interior décor.
