René Lalique (attributed) – Opalescent Art Deco glass bowl – 25 cm Special decorative glass bowl with refined relief and a brilliant opalescent effect, presumably originating from the renowned French glass house Lalique. The bowl stands out for its elegant, rounded shape and richly detailed decoration. From the central flower-shaped motif, a graceful pattern of organic lines, branches and oval relief elements unfolds, forming a harmonious and almost three-dimensional whole. What makes this object special is the beautiful interplay between transparency and opalescence. Depending on the light incidence, subtle shades of blue, violet and milky white appear in the glass. This gives the bowl a different appearance from every viewing angle. The combination of natural motifs, refined relief structures and light reflections aligns with the characteristic design of the French Art Deco period. At the underside there is a signature that appears to correspond to the mark R. LALIQUE FRANCE. The exact identification of the model and the manufacturing period have not yet been independently confirmed. Thanks to its elegant form, the bowl is suitable as a decorative centerpiece, vitrine object, or as part of a collection of historic French art glass. Condition The bowl is in excellent condition and, according to the description, completely undamaged. There are no cracks, chips or broken parts. The photos are part of the object description and show the state and the refined details of the glass.
