Lalique Candlestick “Blue Tits”, René Lalique model, 1943 Description: This exceptional candle holder in frosted pressed glass, titled “Blue Tits,” is a creation by René Lalique dated 1943. It features two finely carved blue tits, surrounded by an embossed interlacing of flowers, forming a harmonious and poetic composition. The whole rests on a hexagonal clear cut glass base, giving the piece stability and transparency. This model is referenced in the catalog raisonné by Félix Marcilhac under number 2126 bis, which attests to its authenticity and its place in René Lalique’s glassworks.
