An old full size violin for professional musician or collector. No cracks. One piece back of strongly flamed maple wood, matched sides and scroll, straight high grained spruce top. Neatly inlaid purfling on top and back. Fluted f-holes. With its beautifully carved scroll and refined orange-brown varnish over golden ground, this instrument is a elegant personality with a broad range of sound nuances. Warm and matured in its lower registers, its balanced sound of medium power gains clarity, brightness and sweetness in the upper registers.
