Midnight Guardian by La Chibroneuse – XL Limited Edition on canvas Suspended between shadow and light, a bat seems to strike a pose like a real studio model. With Midnight Guardian, La Chibroneuse reinterprets the traditional codes of animal portraiture to reveal a creature often associated with the night in a surprisingly sensitive light. Its immense eyes instantly draw the gaze while its wings folded around the body evoke almost a protective cape. Black and white reinforces the theatrical dimension of the scene. Each membrane, each claw and each detail of the fur emerge gradually from the darkness. The animal is no longer unsettling: it becomes mysterious, fragile and majestic. A nocturnal portrait where the strange gently yields to emotion. ⸻ DETAILS OF THE WORK • Title: Midnight Guardian • Artist: La Chibroneuse • Dimensions: 46 × 66 cm (white border of 3 cm included) • Limited edition: 1/20, numbered • Technique: Advanced mixed technique – photography, digital painting and manual retouching • Authenticity: Certificate of authenticity provided exclusively by email ⸻ TECHNICAL FEATURES The composition draws directly on the codes of Fine Art portrait in studio. A precise side lighting models the animal’s volumes and gradually separates its silhouette from a deep black background. La Chibroneuse works extensively on each creation on the graphic tablet, like a painter before his canvas. Fur, wing membranes, contrasts, depth of blacks and light are manually refined to build a detailed image while preserving its dark, photographic atmosphere. This work, blending photography, digital painting and meticulous retouching, transforms animal portraiture into a contemporary, almost sculptural composition. ⸻ DELIVERY AND PRESENTATION • Fine Art giclée print on premium canvas • Work sold without frame or stretcher, shipped rolled • Professional and secure packaging • Certificate of authenticity emailed after purchase ⸻ ABOUT THE ARTIST La Chibroneuse develops a singular universe where photography and digital creation meet. Women, animals and unexpected scenes become subjects of compositions that are sometimes poetic, sometimes provocative, always built around a strong visual identity. Through extensive digital and pictorial work, she seeks to go beyond mere representation to give her subjects a presence and a personality of their own. Instagram: @chibroneuse
