A monograph on the Polish draftsman and printmaker Tadeusz Kulisiewicz (1899–1988), by Joanna Guze. The book reproduces a significant collection of drawings and graphic works, notably his powerful scenes depicting peasant and working-class life. A French-language edition published in Warsaw in 1956; an interesting vintage publication on one of the leading figures in 20th-century Polish drawing and printmaking. The dust jacket, which is particularly fragile, is heavily worn: tears, missing sections, scuffing, creases, and foxing; the interior is well-preserved.
