Der Bruder der Dichterin Thusnelda Kühl studierte Malerei und Bildhauerei in Berlin und Nürnberg, nach einigen Auslandsjahren kehrte er in seine norddeutsche Heimat zurück.- Grünes Deichvorland, im Vordergrund rechts die Hausecke eines reetgedeckten Hofes.- Verso handschriftlich bezeichnet 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz, Kreis Husum' sowie mit montiertem Papierschild, typografisch bezeichnet mit Künstlernamen und 'Priel bei Olversum'.
