All auctions / Contemporary Art / KRAM2 (1981) - LOVE WINS
LOVE WINS This work reinterprets the game of tic-tac-toe to pose an essential question: what do we truly prioritize — money or the heart? On a grid where sacks of money and red hearts face off, the composition simple and strong reminds us that human values are not measured in numbers. A direct message, in the spirit of street art: at the end of the game, love always wins. _____ A visual and emotional explosion KRAM2’s art strikes like a shockwave. Raw, instinctive, and charged with meaning, each piece invites reflection. Hand-painted with care and intention, his creations reflect an intense life journey and a visceral creativity — always guided by a desire to shake up consciences and inspire change. ⸻ A childhood driven by the urgency to express oneself Born in the 1980s, at a time when street art was emerging in France, KRAM2 grows up in a world where visual expression was omnipresent. He discovers the first tags, wild murals, the silent cries of the city walls. A visual shock awakens something powerful in him: the need to paint, to transgress, to exist in his own way. ⸻ From instinct to identity At 13 he begins to write on walls what he cannot say aloud. Pseudonyms change, styles evolve, but one thing remains: to paint in order to stand up. Even after finding professional stability, he never lets go of his skateboard nor his camera. Art is always there, on standby, ready to be reborn. ⸻ The birth of KRAM2 Twenty years later, a meeting upheaves his trajectory and rekindles the flame. He reconnects with his creative essence. He is reborn under the name KRAM2 — a tribute to his own first name, and to the person who now shares his life. ⸻ A heart and conscience-driven art KRAM2 paints what he feels, what he sees, what questions him. His work speaks of identity, childhood, struggle, and resilience. It is not decorative: it is a mirror held up to the world. Today, his works have traveled to more than 35 countries. From independent galleries to urban walls, they provoke, captivate, and move beyond cultures. ⸻ The KRAM2 BOY — Symbol of innocence At the heart of his universe stands a symbol: the KRAM2 BOY. A pure inner child — curious, fearless, free — who keeps creating without limits. He embodies what remains true, essential, alive… and reminds us that at the origin of any creation, there is a dream. ____ Hand-painted in only 100 copies. Each copy of this series will therefore be different. Technique: acrylic paint + water-based inks with pigment load.
