Kotcha Kotte was born in 1956. Her artistic experience develops from a very young age, showing, at barely twenty, in several solo shows in Italy and France. Initially influenced by metaphysical painting and surrealism; in the years of research she arrives at a wholly personal language with references to pop culture and the American underground scene. The artist opens up to multidisciplinary work, with performances and installations, up to digital art. She continually pursues stylistic research and new forms of visual communication, in which the graphic organization of heterogeneous elements and materials is synthesized in the specificity of the figurative line with the innate physicality of matter.
