Acrylic painting on canvas by Kiru, a Spanish artist graduated in Art from the Open University of Catalonia and with a Master in Art from the University of Seville. THE AUTHOR Kiru is a Spanish artist who presents an intuitive and accessible palette, and who holds a Degree in Art and a Master in Art from the University of Seville. For Kiru, matter, stroke, and color are not only key elements in the creative process but also what transforms each piece into a visually stimulating and positive experience. Kiru derives from the Sanskrit root kṛ, meaning to create, to do, to trace, and is at the origin of terms such as kṛti (work) or karma (action). It is a historical and well-documented root, directly linked to the creative act understood as gesture, process, and transformation. Represented internationally by ArtBelina, StudioToGallery and UGallery. THE SERIES JUST FLOWERS is a contemporary exploration of still life, a genre essential to the history of Western painting. Kiru rescues it here with a renewed approach: an impressionist, vibrant, and characteristic reading that transforms tradition into a fresh, luminous, and emotionally accessible image. Each piece in the series offers a dialogue between the memory of the genre and the energy of the gesture, designed for the collector seeking works with identity and presence.
