Acrylic painting on canvas by Kiru, a Spanish artist. Graduated in Art from the Open University of Catalonia and with a Master’s in Art from the University of Seville. THE AUTHOR Kiru is a Spanish artist who presents an intuitive and accessible palette, and who holds a Degree in Art and a Master’s in Art from the University of Seville. For Kiru, matter, stroke, and color are not only key elements in the creative process, but also the forces that transform each piece into a stimulating and positive visual experience. Kiru derives from the Sanskrit root kṛ, which means to create, to do, to draw, and is the origin of terms such as kṛti (work) or karma (action). It is a historic and documented root directly linked to the creative act understood as gesture, process, and transformation. Represented internationally by ArtBelina, StudioToGallery and UGallery. THE SERIES JUST FLOWERS is a contemporary exploration of still life, a genre essential to the history of Western painting. Kiru revisits it here with a renewed approach: an impressionistic, vibrant, and characteristic reading that transforms tradition into a fresh, luminous, and emotionally accessible image. Each piece in the series proposes a dialogue between the memory of the genre and the energy of the gesture, designed for the collector who seeks works with identity and presence.
