Kirkwood #19 - Jaren Dahlstrom

Kirkwood #19 by Jaren Dahlstrom Painting 24.0 x 18.0 :: This piece of art features strong geometric and abstract elements. The composition includes a row of vertical black bars that run the full height of the painting evenly spaced across the artwork creating a sense of division or separation within the piece. Vibrant undulating waves of color flow between the bars in dynamic patterns. The hues range from deep blues and greens to bright reds and whites which give the impression of movement and energy. The painting invokes a feeling of being inside looking out or perhaps of barriers obstructing what appears to be a lively rhythmic natural phenomenon like waves or rolling hills. The top and bottom bands of solid color—red at the top and blue at the bottom—frame the central imagery drawing the viewer's eye to the vivid central waves. The artwork exudes boldness through its color contrasts and the stark black lines against the fluidity of the colorful forms. :: Type: Painting Medium: Acrylic Style: Abstract Subject: Abstract Width: 24.0 Height: 18.0 Depth: 0.3 Weight: 16 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
