This work is a captivating geometric abstract composition centered on the figure of a domestic cat. The artist skillfully employs cubist and futuristic principles to deconstruct and reassemble the feline form through overlapping color planes and sharp facets. The color palette is vibrant and contrasting, balancing warm tones of orange, ochre yellow, and deep reds with fresh turquoise and deep blues. The cat’s fixed gaze, defined by intense yellow eyes, anchors the composition, while the fragmented background—suggesting a window or an abstract interior—complements the dynamism of the central figure with its own interwoven geometric shapes. The piece achieves a unique visual harmony between geometric abstraction and figurative representation, capturing the subject’s enigmatic and elegant essence.
