Keith Haring’s radiant, accessible visual vocabulary acts as a vital bridge between the historical avant-garde and the elite echelons of today's art market. His roots in street culture directly paved the way for contemporary disruptors like Banksy, who translated urban public interventions into monumental commercial value. Furthermore, Haring’s playful use of repetitive, symbolic icons shares a conceptual DNA with René Magritte's subversive surrealism and Pablo Picasso's bold, graphic deconstruction of the human form. However, it is his close alliance with Andy Warhol that truly anchors his legacy; together, they blurred the boundaries between high art and mass media, proving that populist aesthetics could dominate the global art market alongside the world’s most highly valued blue-chip creators. Now Haring is one of the most important artist of the 20th as Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Eduardo Chillida, Jeff Koons, Banksy or Egon Schiele This is an authentic hand-painted animation cel created by Keith Haring (D 1990) for use in the production of an animated spot in the show "Sesame Street".
