He began painting in 2014 and had initial exhibition participations. In 2015 followed his first solo exhibition. Since then, he has continually developed his technique. Several exhibitions and workshops followed to date. Special attention is given by Jürgen Angeler to Informal Painting, a form of modern art that emerged in the 1940s/1950s. The blend of spontaneity (impulse setting) and chance (drip painting, squeegee marks) plays a decisive role. At the end of the creative process is a finished painting that expresses the tension built up during the process. Jürgen Angeler looks back on successful exhibitions in Germany, Italy and Austria. His paintings are in collections in several European countries, the USA, Hong Kong, and Japan. Selected exhibitions: - Participation with two paintings at "cosmo GRAFIE" in Rome, Italy. Curated by Eva Czerkl - Involvement with the Elledorado Art Charity at the Schwules Museum, Berlin (spokeswoman: Claudia Roth, Vice President of the Bundestag) - Solo exhibition "Made in Germany" at the Kulturei Mainz (Citadel), Germany
