A beautiful vintage specimen from the Junghans brand, 1950s, of German manufacture; Gold-toned metal case measures 32.5 mm excluding the winding crown (the classic size for that era) with a few light marks due to age and decorative lugs shaped like a spider, finely worked; Dial in gold color with a slight patina developed over time, raised Arabic numerals and blued hands; Mechanical hand-wind movement, 17 jewels, tested on the wrist for 24 hours, with adjustment of time, winding and operation, in good order; Steel case back with snap closure and commemorative engraving "HIBERNIA A.-G" (Gewerkschaft Hibernia, a historic German mining company) and a span of years 1918-1943, probably donated as corporate recognition; New Perlon fabric strap, never worn; An intriguing watch for vintage watch enthusiasts or timepieces of historical provenance; Private sale excludes any form of warranty.
