Jugendstil Tile - Manufactures Céramiques d'Hemixem...

This is an original antique Art Nouveau tile made by: Manufactures Céramiques d'Hemixem Gilliot & Cie, Hemiksem, Belgium. The decoration of flower motifs (Dandelion) is in relief applied by means of a dust-pressed technique, where clay powder is pressed together under high pressure in a mold. The tile is in reasonable to good condition. This tile has small edge damage and a hairline crack, clearly visible in the images. The back is marked with an H, which is common for this factory and refers to the location: Hemiksem. I pack the tile(s) with great care. I ship my packages with PostNL. All packages with a track & trace number.
