Jugendstil Tile - Georg Bankel Wandplattenfabrik - Art Nouveau - 1900-1910

Art Nouveau tile made by: Georg Bankel Wandplattenfabrik, Lauf bei Nürnberg, Germany. This factory was founded in 1905. The geometric decoration is relief-applied by means of a dust-pressed technique in which clay powder is compacted under high pressure in a mold. The tile is in reasonably good condition, but has many small glaze chips/damages; see the pictures. The back of the tile is marked with BANKEL LAUF. I pack the tile(s) with great care, and ship with PostNL.

Estimate:$1.12
