An ovoid silver vessel decorated with friezes of water leaves. The plain body rests on a circular pedestal. The neck is adorned with a rosette extending into a blackened wooden handle. Various hallmarks, including that of the Paris Assay Office (1819–1838) and the silversmith’s mark: Guillaume Richard (registered in 1809). Also bearing the 2nd-title hallmark and the Belgian hallmark (1814–1831). Height: 21 cm. Gross weight: 286 g. (shows normal signs of wear and scratches; sold as is).
