Near East, Judaea, Roman period. A collected group of ancient glass fragments, most from blown vessels, in pale green and aqua with silvery and gold iridescence produced by long burial. Edges are broken and irregular, ranging in shapes and size. The glass is thin-walled, typical of Roman table and storage vessels made across the eastern Mediterranean. The largest pieces are well suited to wire wrapping, bezel setting, or resin work, and smaller chips can be used in mosaic and inlay projects. Item # 205122
