Joseph Sima (1891-1971) - Sans titre (1961)

Superb composition: multicolored watercolor on paper, signed and dated 1961 by Joseph Sima. Exceptional beauty for this abstract and moving work. Special feature: the colors change depending on the exhibition venue and the time of day. I invite you to look closely, and this is the reason for the 20 photos. Dimensions for the painting alone: 55.5 x 38 cm. A slight tear at the top center, see photos. But almost invisible. Provenance: sold at an auction house in Paris, 2017. Simple framing that nicely enhances the work, but the buyer could do much better, especially considering the quality of the work.

Estimate:$5,596.61
