Astronomical instruction, in which the doctrinal and theoretical sphere, with an intermingled use of the celestial sphere, and various chronologies, are treated. 1692. Two parts in one volume. With frontispiece, 4 folded copperplates and 34 text copperplates. The pages are in overall good condition, partly lightly browned and with a few isolated stains. The back of the title copperplate has brown edge stains, the title page slight brown corner stains. The copper plate on page 137 apparently has been overlaid with a revised copperplate. The second work has very light worm traces; these are rather unobtrusive and lie outside the text. Bound in a contemporary binding with gilding on the spine. The binding is somewhat rubbed. At the upper corner of the back cover there is a small piece of leather peeling away. The spine is slightly brittle at the top and bottom, the hinges are somewhat sprung, the edges and corners show some bumping.
