Artist: Vives Maristany Title: Floral Still Life Technique: Oil on cardboard Signature: Signed lower left Medium: Oil on cardboard Period: 20th century Frame: Presented in a later wooden frame Expressive floral composition by Vives Maristany, executed in oil on cardboard and signed lower left. The work depicts a vibrant bouquet of flowers with predominantly pink, white, violet and ochre tones. The artist uses a loose and energetic brushstroke, with visible impasto and gestural application of the paint, creating a dynamic and contemporary impression. The warm ochre background provides a strong contrast with the flowers and enhances the decorative character of the composition. A charming example of Spanish modern painting, suitable for both collectors and interior decoration. Condition: In good overall condition considering its age. Signs of age and use may be present. Please examine the photographs carefully, as they form part of the description. The painting will be carefully packed and shipped with appropriate protection.
