Joan Mitchell is known for her abstracted landscapes and use of blocky shapes of lyrical color in her compositions. 39.25 x 31.5 inches canvas ;100.2x80cm unframed. Private collection, USA. Excellent condition, very well preserved; light surface grime at the edges of the canvas; paint/ canvas loss upper right corner.
