Title Jisbar & Cope2 – Iconic Mona – Limited edition of 50 copies – 2021 Description Very rare collaborative print realized in 2021 by artists Jisbar and Cope2, bringing together two emblematic universes of contemporary urban art. With Iconic Mona, Jisbar revisits the famous Mona Lisa by merging it with the iconography of the Statue of Liberty, while incorporating the raw energy of New York graffiti by Cope2. The artwork blends references to art history, pop culture, street art and graphic inscriptions in a particularly dynamic and colorful composition. This edition was produced in only 50 copies. Each print comes with its certificate of authenticity signed by Jisbar and Cope2. The artists' signatures are integrated into the composition (signature printed on the plate) and are therefore not hand-signed on the print. The edition is now entirely sold out. Only seven copies had been kept by the partner gallery at the project launch in 2021, making this work a particularly rare opportunity on the market. About the artists Jisbar (born in 1989) is a French artist known for his contemporary reinterpretations of the great works of art history. His work, blending pop art, street art and contemporary culture, is now shown in numerous galleries and international collections. Cope2 (Fernando Carlo Jr., born in 1968 in New York) is a legendary figure in American graffiti. Active since the late 1970s in the Bronx, he is considered one of the pioneers of the graffiti movement and his works are today in the most important collections of urban art.
