Historic June 24, 1968 executed recording agreement signed by Jimi Hendrix during the resolution of the landmark PPX Enterprises legal dispute, one of the most consequential legal and business events of his career. Executed between Warner Bros.- Seven Arts Records and Hendrix, this complete agreement helped establish the recording relationship that governed Hendrix at the height of his fame. Signed in full by Hendrix on the execution page, the contract contains numerous handwritten amendments, revisions, and initials in another hand throughout. It references PPX Enterprises, Edward Chalpin, Michael Jeffery, Chas Chandler, Capitol Records, Yameta Company Ltd., and Warner Bros., while addressing recording obligations, master ownership, royalty provisions, and distribution rights. Executed just months before the release of Electric Ladyland, the agreement documents the restructuring of Hendrix's recording rights at the peak of his legendary career, making it one of the most significant surviving Hendrix business documents to reach the marketplace. Retains original Bahamas revenue stamps on the opening page. Authenticated by Steve Grad, Autograph Grade 9 (Cert. No. GA-05694), with an additional favorable review by noted music autograph expert Roger Epperson. Estimate $8,000 - $12,000
