Boxwood chess set of the La Régence type, the famous Paris café, with a 100 mm king on a 100 mm chessboard King size: 100 mm; pawns: 50 mm Delivered with a chessboard, a backgammon box, and a worn mat; the latter is included with the game as-is! Material: boxwood, stained black Dating from: 1950 Origin: France; complete with all 32 pieces Feature: nice condition. The wooden box is the chessboard box Feature: note a few moves are really minor, given it is nearly 100 years old Please study all photographs carefully, as they constitute an important part of the description.
