Jean-Pierre André Leclercq (1960) - Rusty (Olivia 07)

A genuine oil painting on linen canvas in perfect condition, sold by the artist directly from the studio. It is not an AI-generated image and printed on canvas. Jean-Pierre André Leclercq situates his artistic approach within a pictorial tradition where technical mastery serves a sensitive exploration of the human figure. A painter of the real, he favors the use of oil on linen canvas, but also works with drawing to bring his compositions to life. His approach, rooted in a demanding hyperrealism, goes beyond mere visual reproduction to reach a deeper narrative dimension. His work focuses mainly on celebrating femininity, often sublimated by the nude. Through a subtle play of chiaroscuro and particular attention paid to rendering skin textures and hair, he seeks to capture a presence that is both delicate and powerful. Nudity is here treated as a vector of truth and elegance, aimed at eliciting a positive and immediate emotion in the viewer. The work is insured during transport for the value of the last bid.
