Jean de Roncourt - Sculpture

Art Deco sculpture "Eagle-hunter". Author: Jean de Roncourt. Large, imposing Art Deco sculptural ensemble. Represents a classical hunter/athlete with a spear facing an eagle with spread wings, on a black marble base with gold veins. The eagle is made of bronze and the hunter in patinated zamak. The sculpture is signed by Jean de Roncourt, but the eagle could be the work of Irenée Rochard (I have located specimens with the eagle signed). Please look at the photographs as they are part of the description (two of the photos have been recreated with assistance, so the tone may have been altered). Dimensions: 62 × 16 cm base; 69 cm maximum height. Note: the item will be shipped disassembled for safety during transport, in two different packages, with simple assembly (just tighten 5 nuts and 2 screws).
