His work is largely devoted to landscapes and maritime scenes, especially ports and coasts of Brittany, as well as the landscapes of Normandy and still lifes. Among the subjects recorded are Breton ports, fishing boats, snowy landscapes and Norman villages. Several works are dated from the 1960s to the 1980s, evidence of artistic activity pursued over several decades.
