Screenprint on recycled Olin paper 250g dimensions: 63.5 x 50.2 cm number of prints: 50 year: 2014 Visual artist, musician, composer and French writer of Kabyle and Czechoslovak origin, Jb Hanak lives and works in Paris. His visual works share several traits with his musical universe: rich in content, they encompass many disparate influences that coexist in intense compression. From his first exhibitions in 2014, he received support from artists such as Oscar Tuazon, Jean-Luc Verna and David Lynch. His works were quickly acknowledged by key figures in the art world, including Agnès b, the French Institute, La Maison du Papier, Hey!, La Halle Saint-Pierre and Mitsubishi Pencil in Japan. He has exhibited in Germany, the United States, Luxembourg, Japan, England and France. In France, his work is represented by Galerie 24B (Paris), B.A.G. (Bordeaux) and Galerie Hectare (Tokyo, Japan). Also a novelist, JB Hanak has just released his second novel “BÂTARDS” praised by critics. “I read Bâtards with admiration. Your Japan fascinated me.
