Accompanied by a statement from Larry Silver, dated 30 June 2012, in which he attributes the painting offered here to the workshop of Jan Metsys. Also included is an assessment from the Art Loss Register; each document is provided in copy. In a tabernacle frame, its lower border suggests the presence of the open sarcophagus.
