Original heliogravure of Jan Mankes's painting: “Raven on the birch tree” from 1913. The heliogravure is dated 1923. Framing dimensions: 32 x 22 cm Image dimensions: 19.8 x 11.4 cm Jan Mankes has gone down in art history as “Holland’s most serene painter.” The heliogravure was printed and published in 1923 by Jan Mankes’s wife A. Mankes-Zernike and R.N. Roland Holst. Publisher: J.A.A.M. Van Es – Utrecht 1923. The heliogravure is in excellent condition and is supplied with a matching cream-colored passe-partout in the depicted sleek black wooden frame (see detail photo).
