IN RISALTO * Equipped with Federperiti Conformity Certification Guarantee * Equipped with CRS ASI Historicity Certificate * Only 68,000 kilometers certified by Jaguar * Rare Sport version - 3.0 V6 with manual transmission * Technical inspection (revision) passed without defects * Meticulous maintenance documented over time * Complete with all original manuals and double keys STORY / OVERVIEW The Jaguar X-Type represents the British brand’s entry into the prestigious compact sedan segment, marrying classic elegance, comfort, and build quality typically associated with Jaguar. The 3.0 V6 Sport with manual transmission is one of the rarest and most sought-after configurations in the range, offering an engaging driving experience thanks to the brilliant V6 engine paired with a manual gearbox. The example offered at auction, registered in 2001 and delivered new in Italy, stands out for a fully known history, an original mileage of only 68,000 km, Jaguar-certified, and consistent, carefully documented maintenance over the years. It is a rare Sport version, with dedicated wood inserts, interior with sport seats, and body-colored aerodynamics appendages. EXTERIOR The car preserves the elegant original Platinum Silver Metallic color, as stated on the factory identification plate. The bodywork is exceptionally solid, free from corrosion and in excellent overall condition, showing only light signs consistent with normal use. The paint has never undergone a full restoration and retains a high degree of originality, as do all body details, still in excellent condition. Recently a professional polishing and detailing treatment has been performed. The thickness gauge check did not reveal any signs of accidents or structural repairs. The underbody is in excellent conservation condition, completely original, solid, and consistent with the car’s transparent history and low mileage. INTERIOR The cabin is enhanced by the refined optional leather-and-fabric red interior, offered only on the Sport, a particularly elegant and sought-after combination. The interiors are well-preserved and show only minimal signs of use. The dashboard, enriched with original burr walnut inserts, retains all factory instrumentation and all characteristic Jaguar production details from the early 2000s, as well as the original steering wheel. No anomalies warning lights are present on the instrument cluster, nor during the official Jaguar test. Recently an accurate sanitization of the entire cabin was also performed. MECHANICS From a mechanical standpoint the car is perfectly functional. The V6 starts promptly, delivers power smoothly, and offers performance fully consistent with the certified low mileage. Manual transmission, clutch, and braking system operate correctly, ensuring a pleasant and precise drive, fully respecting the model’s original characteristics. The history of revisions confirms constant and meticulous maintenance: annual technical checks were regularly passed without defects in 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021, 2023 and 2025. During its life the car has benefited from Jaguar maintenance interventions duly documented by the invoices included with the auction. The car is delivered with all original manuals, double keys, and the complete documentation relating to maintenance performed over the years. A Jaguar X-Type 3.0 V6 Sport manual extremely rare to find in these conditions, with certified mileage, complete maintenance history, and a mechanically configuration highly valued by brand enthusiasts today. A example destined to become increasingly interesting in the landscape of British youngtimers. TRANSPORT The seller can arrange home delivery in Italy and Europe. Contact for a quote.
