Historic silver Kronenthaler from 1794 – Emperor Franz II. (Milan Mint). Silver Kronenthaler 1794 M (Milan), Emperor Franz II. Weight: 29.3 g, diameter: 39 mm. Very nice circulated piece (VF) with attractive, dark original patina and completely legible laubrand (“LEGE ET FIDE”). For sale is a fascinating and guaranteed authentic piece of European monetary history: A silver Kronenthaler (Crocione) from the year 1794, minted under the last Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, Franz II, in the historic mint of Milan (mint mark “M”). The coin captivates with an honest, attractive obverse/decorative circulation patina with a grown, dark age patina. All contours of the imperial portrait as well as the details of the Burgundian cross and the Order of the Golden Fleece are excellently legible. Especially noteworthy is the excellently preserved laubrand with the raised edge inscription “LEGE ET FIDE.” The coin has been precisely measured and weighed. - Nominal: 1 Kronenthaler (Crocione) - Year: 1794 - Mint mark: M (Milan / Milano) - Material: Silver - Weight: 29.30 g (Perfect weight, absolutely minimal historical wear) - Diameter: 39.0 mm (Exactly according to factory specification) - Edge: Laubrand with raised edge inscription “LEGE ET FIDE” - Condition: Very Fine (ss) / VF (Very Fine) with fine original tone A gem for collectors of Old Germany, Habsburg, Italian coins, or large-silver pieces of the 18th century. Please check your address several times to ensure the package is delivered properly. A return is annoying and costs me time, unnecessary concern, and fees…. If you bid, only if you are ready and able to pay for it! Therefore I will not sell the coin below the silver price anymore and I set a minimum price! Then good luck with the auction. Domestic and international shipping only as insured parcel. One more important note: For current reasons, we as private individuals do not ship overseas, such as to America, Canada, China, Japan, Russia, Turkey, Israel, and also not to non-European countries. Also not to non-EU countries due to customs regulations, which pose an insurmountable hurdle for us! No shipping to lockboxes, P.O. Boxes, or Packstations! In addition, this is a private sale: Since the new EU directive now provides 1 year of warranty also for private sales – insofar as the seller does not exclude it – we declare that we do not assume warranty under the EU directive for our privately sold items. By purchasing the goods you expressly agree to renounce warranty. There is no right of withdrawal or return on used items purchased from us (Paragraph 312d Sec 4 No. 5 BGB)
