Splendid and rare lot composed of three historic silver coins minted for the Eritrea Colony under the reign of Umberto I, characterized by an exceptional state of preservation. The coins are presented loose (not certified), offering sharp details and splendid metallic reflections. Below are the details and visual analyses of each piece: • 50 Centesimi 1890 (Rare - R): Silver coin with almost complete details and minimal wear only on the highest reliefs. The obverse shows legible legends and crisp dentition, with much of the original luster partially veiled by a pleasant patina of circulation and light surface contact marks. The reverse preserves excellent natural brightness and good reflectivity around the floral motifs; the edge is perfectly intact and free of deterring nicks. • 1 Lira 1891 (Uncommon - NC): A specimen in excellent condition indicating very limited circulation. The obverse presents slight wear at the top of the central reliefs, but maintains sharp contours and a lustre clearly visible in the protected areas, enriched by a uniform patina. The reverse shows superb definition of the ornamental elements and secondary inscriptions, with a clean surface (rare microscopic marks) and a geometrically perfect beaded edge. • 2 Lire 1896 (Rare - R): A highly sought coin with a reduced print run. The obverse exhibits light and uniform wear only on the highest points, preserving the freshness of the original metal and clean fields with minimal and non-invasive circulation scratches. The reverse stands out for excellent overall luminosity and balanced contrast; the lower decorative motifs retain almost intact their original texture, with microscopic scattered signs that do not compromise its high visual impact.
