Splendid and authentic cartridge pouch for the belt of the full dress uniform (Grande Uniforme) of an Italian Artillery officer, dating from the first half of the 20th century. The item features on the front a magnificent metal plate in brass/gilt bronze, rich in detail, depicting the traditional Artillery insignia: a flaming grenade surmounted by two crossed cannons. The case retains the original side loops that were used to attach it to the belt in gold bullion. This is a collectible piece of great visual charm, ideal for enriching a display of Italian militaria or for completing a period officer mannequin.
