Islamic Bronze Ring with Engraved Vegetal Motif – 11th to 13th Century AD A medieval Islamic bronze ring featuring a broad oval bezel decorated with deeply incised linear and stylised vegetal motifs. The engraved composition is arranged asymmetrically across the surface, characteristic of the geometric and abstract ornamental vocabulary widely used in medieval Islamic personal jewellery. The substantial hoop expands gently toward the bezel and retains an attractive dark archaeological patina with surface wear and mineral deposits consistent with age and prolonged burial.
