IPR Graph - Marilyn Monroe y Audrey Hepburn: Reinas del Neopop

The artist IPR Graph lives and works in the city of Alicante, Spain, where he develops his artistic practice in his own studio and gallery. He began his career in the field of modern art, sculpture, and professional figurative painting, disciplines in which he acquired a solid technical and conceptual training. However, it was the fascination with pop art and the dynamism of urban art that led him to find a freer contemporary language, free from traditional plastic constraints, allowing him to express himself with complete creative independence. His production falls at the intersection of neo-expressionism, urban art, and contemporary pop culture, establishing a personal style characterized by visual strength, chromatic energy, and iconic impact. In his works, IPR Graph reinterprets universal figures from cinema, music, sports, manga, Japanese anime, and video games, building an imaginary world where cultural icons are transformed into symbols of collective memory. Each piece is an exercise in emotional and psychological reinterpretation, where vibrant colors, urban grafitti, typographic collages, and intense painterly gestures shape portraits and scenes of great impact. These characters are not only recognizable by their image but also by the expressive and symbolic charge they convey, generating a dialogue between the viewer and contemporary visual culture. Inspired by street art, collage, and modern expressionism, IPR Graph turns his canvases into an experimental field of great aesthetic freedom. There, gestural, iconic, and popular elements mingle, giving rise to works that are at once provocative and refined, with a strong contemporary signature. The works presented in this auction are high-quality giclée reproductions on professional canvas, resistant and durable. Each belongs to a limited edition of only 10 copies worldwide, which makes them collectible and exclusive pieces, destined for an audience that values both aesthetic strength and uniqueness in contemporary art. This sophisticated Neo-Pop Art and Mixed Media diptych pays tribute to two of Hollywood cinema’s most dazzling myths: Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn. In the left panel, Marilyn is depicted holding a pink bubblegum bubble, crowned by a dynamic yellow neon-like stroke with the inscription “GOLDEN,” surrounded by layers of collage, press clippings, and urban tags on a turquoise and red background. The right panel, for its part, shows Audrey Hepburn in a similar pose blowing a blue bubblegum bubble, adorned with a bright gold crown and pink neon typography that reads “YOUR GOLDEN,” integrated over a rich texture of graffiti, stamps, and vintage newspaper pages. The clever combination of classic black-and-white glamour with the rebellion of contemporary urban art makes this piece a bold and highly aesthetic collectible, perfect for Pop Art collectors, iconic photography enthusiasts, and street art lovers.
