In The Dark - Newel Hunter

In The Dark by Newel Hunter Painting 16.0 x 20.0 :: “In the Dark” presents a striking monochromatic composition dominated by abstract organic shapes rendered in white against a deep black background. The textured surface of the white forms suggests a tactile quality with areas of varying thickness and depth. These forms interact with each other dynamically some appearing sharp and angular while others display more rounded flowing contours. The high contrast between light and dark tough and jagged contrast and texture all intensifies the visual impact. And creates a hormonious tension that is visually compelling -- a Hunter hallmark. In the Dark is painted with acrylic on an 16 x 20 inch canvas panel professionally finished and ready to frame. It comes carefully packaged and shipped in a heavy duty cardboard box for maximum protection.
