"Reinforced Concrete" – From the street to your home The new cycle of IABO’s works plays on the double meaning of the title: "Reinforced Concrete", which, by crossing out the "R", becomes "Reinforced Love". A wordplay that transforms the idea of solidity and durability of concrete into an emotional bond with the material and the artist’s creative journey. The choice to paint on cement panels is not random but deeply symbolic. Those who know IABO know that his artistic path began in the 1990s as a graffiti writer and metropolitan writer, before establishing himself, from 2003, as one of the first Neapolitan street artists. In the following years, his work moved from the street to the canvas, entering the world of contemporary art. With over 100 exhibitions worldwide – among museums, galleries, and public and private spaces – IABO has consolidated a unique and recognizable language. With "Reinforced Concrete", the artist returns to his origins, paying homage to his past as a writer, when he painted on the city's concrete walls. This project rediscovers the most authentic, raw, and lived urban aesthetics, restoring that metropolitan flavor that characterizes street art. The protagonists of these works are his famous "profiles", a series of characters reinvented with his distinctive style. The works are created with stencils and spray cans and, although the subjects repeat, each piece is unique, thanks to the different textures and irregularities of the concrete. Moreover, IABO uses stencil with a "lost shape", which cannot be reused, making each creation unrepeatable. The works are already framed with a suspension system, which creates a floating effect and enhances the materiality of the concrete. Each piece measures 65x65 cm (including the frame), is signed on the back and is accompanied by a tamper-evident, artist-signed certificate of authenticity. -Collectible object -Worldwide FREE FAST SHIPPING via UPS IABO is part of the same street art movement as: Shepard Fairey "Obey Giant", Banksy, Invader, Alec Monopoly, Nomen, Jef Aérosol, JR, C215, Rero, Kaws, D Face, Sandra Chevrier, FinDac, Os Gemeos, Gregos, Jonone, M chat, Taki 183, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, insane 51, Pichi Avo, pop art, pichiavo, Seen, Cope2, Seth, Mr Brainwash, Atlas, Blek le Rat, 1up, John Perello, Futura 2000."
