DEER TROPHY – NATURAL ANTLERS ON SKULL AND BASE A Spanish-origin deer trophy is offered at auction, consisting of a natural skull with its original antlers, mounted on a wooden base. A piece with strong decorative presence and a natural look, featuring a very characteristic configuration and pronounced asymmetry between the two antlers, which gives it special uniqueness. Measurements taken from the piece: Left horn length: approximately 43 cm Right horn length: approximately 63.5 cm Left brow tine: 7 cm Right brow tine: 22 cm Left central tip: 23 cm Right central tip: 30 cm Crown tips: left 5 and 3 cm; right 9.5, 6 and 10.5 cm Circumferences measured: between 9 and 16 cm, depending on the area. The whole piece weighs approximately 2,212 g including the wooden base. The piece presents a natural skull and aged-looking antlers, preserving a beautiful tone and patina typical of a hunting trophy. The base includes an identification plate bearing the inscription “CHOZAS MADERO” and a date, as observed in the photographs. Condition: good, considering the age and nature of the piece. It shows the normal signs of conservation and aging typical of a natural trophy. An interesting piece for both trophy collectors and rustic decoration, country houses, cellars, or spaces related to hunting and nature.
