High-quality wall-mounted holy-water font (or stoup). Late 19th century / early 20th century. The mounting plate is carved in white marble with a Gothic-inspired cut-out, lobed profile. The entire central decorative structure, the upper cross, and the lower vessel are made of gilded bronze or brass, finely worked with the champlevé enamel technique. The font features a small basin with a hinged lid at the bottom. The central medallion is an enameled and finely painted miniature depicting a Marian scene. Please pay special attention to the photographs as they are part of the description. Dimensions: 29.5 cm high x 21 cm wide x 4.5 cm deep. Weight: 2 kg.
