Hermès Mini Scarf « Les Allures du Cheval » Gavroche / Silk handkerchief - sheer ivory white - vintage, crafted in fine, slightly transparent silk. The pattern displays, in concentric friezes, the different gaits of the horse (Walk, Amble, Trot, Jump, Gallop), illustrated through elegant equestrian silhouettes - a true reflection of Hermès equestrian heritage. A refined, graphic and timeless piece, highly sought after by Hermès collectors and lovers of equestrian art. Design & historical background. Created in 1956 by Xavier de Poret, a renowned French equestrian illustrator. The mini format (gavroche/handkerchief) is rarer than the classic 90 cm square and increasingly collectible. Label presented.
